Young People Services
We provide confidential, non-judgemental services to young people who need care/advice. Services offered at South Meadow/Dedworth surgeries are contraceptive clinic, STI screening (including HIV), pregnancy advice, emergency contraception, counselling and general sexual health/awareness advice. All appointments are strictly confidential with a female nurse.
Alternatively, you can contact The Garden Clinic, based in Upton Hospital Slough, who offer a 'one stop shop' for all your sexual health needs. They will try and meet all your needs in one visit. The clinic offers a walk-in service and an appointment system. In addition, they have a special SpeakEasy Clinic for those aged 18 years and under. Counselling can be arranged through your GP, or you may like to speak to Talking Therapies, who can help people 18+ with problems such as anxiety, depression, stress and phobias. Talking therapies are a friendly and approachable service that helps people with these problems. For young people and children aged under 19yrs, a great website to look at is http://www.childline.org.uk. ChildLine is a private and confidential service for children and young people up to the age of 19. You can contact a ChildLine counsellor about anything - no problem is to big or too small.
